“Cash for Clunker” $2 Billion

Yes it’s true that nothing is useless in this world! Clunker is that thing which is useless but if you made it useful for your progress then it’s a big achievement! This thing is seems to be real in U.S.A (United States of America) as senate proved that by making a deal of 2$ billion for clunker. Senate add 2$ billion dollars worth of fuel to cash. The Senate is set to refuel the running-on-empty Cash for Clunkers program with $2 billion on Thursday to keep it running for at least another month.

Senate majority leader Harry Reid wrapped the discussion and said that democrats and republicans had agreed to vote on the plan Thursday, while considering a series of potential changes to the bill, passed by the House last week. Senate passage would send the legislation to the White House for President Barrack Obama’s signature and assure consumers there will be no interruption in the program that has led to packed car dealerships nationwide. So, it is very much clear that this bill and the possession was made will work accurately as per planned.

So I would say that this thing “cash for clunkers” is a perfect example of why government should not get into running businesses because it just doesn’t work. Unintended consequences abound. Temporary programs become permanently entrenched interests, and the public becomes servant to a favored constituency. So, now we will have to see in future that how long and affective will be this program to carry it out to success.
